Camp Info:
Maple Wind Farm is a small, private farm located in picturesque
Warwick, New York, 90 minutes north of the city. Our Pony
Camp provides a hands-on experience in all aspects of
horsemanship for beginners and those with more experience.
In fact, we assign one horse to a two-person team, so
that each camper has ample opportunity to learn about,
bond with, and care for their particular horse.
With
our guidance, campers are responsible for the full gamut
of horse care including grooming, feeding, and stable
care. Maple Wind Farm educates campers in horse behavior
and safety, ground manners, horse handling, tack, and
much, much more. And, every camper is provided with a
daily riding lesson - Western or English style.
 Campers
are to wear:
- Jeans
or riding pants, no shorts please
- Long-sleeve
shirts, with nothing hanging (strings, ties, bows, etc)
- Paddock/riding
boots are preferred.
- Approved
riding helmet. If your child doesn’t have an appropriate
helmet, don’t worry. We’ll provide one.
2009
Rates: $325.00 per child.
Ages
5-8:
There
is a 10% discount for registering for multiple weeks and
a 10% sibling discount.
Camp
Session: 5 days, Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm (3 hours)
Ages 9-12:
There is a 10% discount for registering for multiple weeks
and a 10% sibling discount.
Camp
Session: 5 days, Monday to Friday from 9am to 2pm (5
hours)

Release Form
Terms:
A $100 deposit is required at the time
of registration, with the balance due by the first day of
camp.
If you need to cancel, we understand. However, a $100 cancellation
fee applies for less than two weeks notice.
Camp is held unless severe weather prevails.
Maximum
8 kids per camp.
